A Closer Look at CBG (Cannabigerol)

CBD and THC get all the attention, but the other cannabinoids deserve love too! We utilize full spectrum hemp extract oil, which includes many other compounds and cannabinoids, including lesser known CBG.

Cannabigeral - or CBG for short - is actually the precursor to THC and CBD. CBG is the mom and, THC and CBG are her offspring. Like CBD, CBG is non-psychoactive, meaning you won't get the intoxicating effects you would get from THC.

While there is still a lot to be learned about CBG, early research has shown its effects, function, and potential:

- CBG interacts with our CB1 and CB2 receptors, possibly inhibiting the psychoactive effects of THC.

- CBG boosts anandamide, naturally increasing dopamine levels

- CBG is a possible anti-anxiety agent and muscle relaxant.

- CBG may also block serotonin receptors, showing potential antidepressant traits.

As we know, The Entourage Effect can only take place with all of the wonderful compounds the hemp plant has to offer, resulting in the powerful benefits of whole plant medicine.
